About Me

Hello, my name is Eytan Seidman and I am your captain on this blog. I am currently co-founder and VP of Product for Oyster.  Oyster is a stealth mode startup that will launch in 2009.

Prior to Oyster I worked at Microsoft for 6.5 years.  From July 2001 until about mid-2003 I worked on Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM). After that I went to go work on MSN Search. At the time Microsoft had no search engine of its own and was just starting to work on its own engine. I worked on the team that launched v1.0 of the search engine in January 2005 and then I worked on the team for about 3 more years after that. Most of my worked focused on the core relevance infrastructure for the search engine.
